Default Canon Angle Finder C

Is there anybody out that with a full frame Canon that uses an Angle finder C, if so I have a quick question.

It says it has a 1.25 and 2.5 x magnification, my question is - on the 1.25 x do you still see the full frame through the viewfinder or is it just the magnified central part.

I want to get one because I keep getting back ache when doing studio shots, has anyone else had this and did the angle finder solve the problem.

I bought one of the Seagull one's to try it out, only problem is the fit isn't great and it obscures some of the viewfinder, could anybody with any of the EOS 1Ds range let me know if it fits neatly aswell.

Many thanks

Richard
