Hi doug,long time no speak,hope you're ok.

The best you can buy i guess is the lee system, which is very expensive £133 for a set of nd grads. The quality is unquestionable though. Alternatively i use the cokin holder, which is about £8 i think, plasic but it does the job, £4 or £5 for an adaptor ring. I then use the hi tech resin filters which are well thought of and i like them very much. Don't use the cokin neutral grad filters ,they are 'neutral grey' and not a true neutral grad, they will impart a colour cast. The hi tech are dyed right through the resin filters. I haven't used the lee so can't compare the two. Guess it depends on your budget.

I use the Lee filters and they are fantastic, they're top quality and will last a lifetime if you look after them, like everything you get what you pay for.
I've never used them but I hear good things about B+W filters.

Hi guys,

Tyke, Im fine - just been V busy

Thanks for the tips, I ended up buying the cokin system of a friend, it was cheap enough so I went for it.

I am really pleased - adds so much to the foreground detail.

Maybe the lee system is something for the future!

I think thats the set that I got with it.
Ive been really pleased with the results. Ive just moved into a house on Bodmin Moor in Cornwall so should have plenty of chances to use them!

I have just decided to go with Cokin P system for now. Along with Cokin P filters you can also use the Hi-Tech (previously mentioned) you can also use Singh-Ray filters as well.

I don't think there is any doubt that the Lee's are the top of the line. I just couldn't justify cost... at this point. Maybe some day.

Should be fun to use them.
