Well thanks mods for getting this going, it will help us all in the long run (better pics = more money)
I have been so busy trying to build my portfolio, drawing more than shooting, so I haven't had any spare time to read let alone post to the forums.
Anyways here is one of my shots from over christmas. I had bought the bread about a week before the shoot. So I had to pick through to get enough just for this shot. Mold I don't think would sell very good.
I have a cutting board that's pretty big, so I set that on my kitchen table, arranged the bread and wheat.
I had my flash set up right left and one behind me. I use el-cheap-o camera flashes off ebay, I take them apart then cut all the wires except the pin and ground wires, then I mate them with wireless receivers. I used a disfusier over the top of the front edge of the cutting board as I was getting glare.
Well I'm not at all pleased with the photo, but just don't have time to get the stuff together for a reshoot.
