The company said that they will need to see proofs by the next morning. Is there something like a software I can use to send the proofs to them? Or do I just send files saved at 72dpi for web viewing?? I want to make a good impression  it is to photograph an event in Bristol UK, what should I wear lol.

I'm a broken record, but honest the slickest, FREE thumbnail page maker, that prints them or makes pages you can save, is IrfanView. Nice quick photo editor too. Plugins allow many other features, including EXIF data viewer.
You can decide how many images per page. The software also does batch conversion with rename/resize both or either.
You can make "contact sheet" pages and email them, if that's your goal for proofs. You can put any number of images per page, based on size. Or you can make hard copies with a number of pictures per page.
