He says he takes the shot looking straight down from the kite - well, how do you manage that and avoid getting stuff you don't want in the shot - you might have to take a hundred shots to get one that works - how do you manage to keep the kite steady enough to get a photo that isn't blurry? Even if you set the timer on a P&S it's only going to go off once, then you have to bring it down and reset.
Probably easier just to hire a plane
There's some pretty awesome photos there, but the work involved isn't worth it for stock, that's for sure. More editing involved than I'd have time for on a regular basis. I hope he gets paid well for those shots - they're very unique.
I wouldn't put either of my cameras up there...uh uh.
