Pentax prime 35/2 (also a 50/1.7 and 120/2.8, but most often the 35). Rich natural color, super-sharp corner to corner, much sharper than any zoom I have, easy to focus (I trust my manual focusing more than autofocus in most situations), and much less distortion. I don't usually need any more than that for what I do.
