Everyone I hear from Boston or New York City say's they never had to pay for internet ever since they moved there. It's crazy. Wifi hitspots are becoming more and more abundant. I gotta figure out if I can increase / improve my signal by using that chinese bamboo skimmer trick. A pasta pan lid helped boost it up a little bit, but it's so touchy. Right now I can only get signal to this one network when I dangle the usb adapter from the track lighting on my ceiling fan.
I think the metal on the ceiling fan is acting like an antenna booster in itself!
