This reminds me of my trek last year,a bloke that was in our group his camera had frozen dead at the summit.This is at the famous sign 'you are now at africas highest peak' (kilimanjaro). He asked me to take one of him as mine was still working,no probs.My zoom was frozen full out on my compact but still working.I had to keep backing back to get him in frame,little did i realise i was inching closer and closer to the craters lip ! Long way down :shock:

One of the guides grabbed me laughing at me in my oxygen depleated stupor ,he he.

It was just like that old joke,'just a little further back,a little further'.

Chris told me later he would have shouted after me to throw the camera up.Happy days :lol:
