I haven't read the article yet but would like to add to the wrong place thread.
Only a couple of short weeks ago a long-time online friend from an online forum was killed while photographing top-fuel racing cycles. Only moments before he had warned another photographer to watch out for certain riders as the had some issues in this particular curve. One of the riders lost control and leaped the track margin directly into my unfortunate friend.
The only consolation in this is that Gerald died doing what he loved best.
