Hey everyone. I am just starting to look into copyright information as it relates to photography and have a couple of questions before my brain explodes...

1. Is registering each and every photo with the copyright office actually necessary? If yes, which office is the best to deal with (US/Canada/etc.) being a Canadian living and working in Canada?

2. Is it enough to simply stick a copyright notice on photos I wish to protect?

3. How does copyright work if I am not able to attach a copyright to photos posted at sites such as FeaturePics? Is posting on such a site proof of ownership/publish date, etc.

4. Are these even an issue with low rent photos?

Any suggestions or easy to comprehend information you have would be greatly appreciated.
