For me it depends on the image, on the amount of yellow in the teeth, the size of the teeth...any number of things, but usually:
1. work in mask mode and mask teeth
2. exit mask mode, select inverse, ctrl j
3. selective colour, yellow and move the yellow slider as far down as I need to.
Fastest method I've used so far, but it's only one of the ways I do this - works if the teeth are stained yellow (from smoking or coffee). So far, I haven't had to deal much with other food stains.
