Some people seem to do quite well with illustrations. I've only tried one and it sold a couple of times. I'd like to do more, but I need time to learn.

I can tell you though that you cannot create vector illustrations with Photoshop. You must have an application that will create a vector file like Illustrator or CorelDraw. Photoshop creates a bitmap file. Vectors are completely different. A bitmap is pixel-based and a vector is a set of mathmatical instructions. I hope I explained that right and didn't just embarrass myself! :-D

You can, however, "draw" with Photoshop. Check out the latest "Photoshop Wow!" book and you'll be amazed at what can be done from scratch with Photoshop.
