Alright, I've been holding back. ;-)

Elements 5 is what I use right now. It works fine.

I have:
Matisse
Paintshop pro 8
ImageReady
Corel 5
Photoshop 6
lView LE
Photovista Panorama
and some others, plus the second most used photo software on my computer, IrfanView. (free)

Elements does what all of the above do, better, except Photovista stitching, and the GIF animation in Animation Shop 3.

There ain't no Easter Bunny and there's no magic software that will fix a photo with one click. Sorry "Imagic Photo" there are way too many variables and fine selections that one might choose to personalize their photo editing.

For my personal needs, I can't justify buying CS3, just because it's a bigger, more complex and better package. However if someone can show me what one feature I "must have" with Photoshop that isn't available with Elements, for editing sports photos or Micro Stock, I will be persuaded to change my opinion.
