I duplicated the searches in the US.
The searches ended up with the same results. However, the sponsored links included 123RF which never appeared in the UK searches...or, maybe you just didn't recognize it as a micro?

I'd be interested to see what comes up if you do the same search in the USA.
I must admit that I'm looking at Crestock in a new light based on those results. Also worthy of note that Stock.xchng featured quite a lot too. Which is a free image site that is part of Stockxpert. Search results bring up a bunch of freebies with some paid for alternatives from the latter.
